Can driving records from Massachusetts be pulled in Arizona?

Can i be charged with a dui-drugs in Arizona if they didnt take my fingerprints or give any paperwork.?

  • I was pulled over in Phoenix, Arizona, after someone reported that I threw up in a parking lot and then I started to drive. When I was at a red light going west, a cop at the other red light was going east. He turned on his light and blocked me in front from driving away. The cop pulled me over without witnessing me drive like i was impaired, just parked at a red light. He accused me of being high, but they didn't find anything and i really wasn't high. They took me to the station and took my blood/urine. They said they were charging me with a DUI-drugs, but it was a real rookie cop that had to ask the officers for help a lot. I was released without being fingerprinted or given any paper work showing me my charges. I searched online at the public criminal records and it wasn't on there. My first dui was for weed and the day it happened it was put online saying "complaint filed".. I need to know if the cop ****** up and im not getting charged.. Remember NO FINGERPRINTS and NO PAPERWORK GIVING ME CRIMES/COURT DATE. I just dont get how they didn't finger print me or give any paper work with my charges. PLUS, when i got my first dui-marijuana, they did both. Also, the first dui was searchable online within 24hrs and this has almost been a month. I hope the rookie cop ****** up and didnt file it..PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS..DO NOT POST "YOU SHOULDNT HAVE SMOKED POT" THAT IS A STUPID RESPONSE

  • Answer:

Well, in my state, the cop couldn't pull you over because he himself didn't witness the vomiting. That was reported by someone else and can't be used-a friend of mine had this happen and got arrested but it got thrown out on that technicality. So there was no probable cause to pull you over in the first place. As far as the fingerprinting, I've never heard of that, it's possible you could get out of it because proper booking procedure wasn't used. Usually you have to go to court that day if it's not too late, and Mon-Fri, or the next business day morning, so I'd contact the clerk of courts at the courthouse just to be sure you didn't miss a scheduled court date, not a big deal if you did because you are asking, not blowing it off, they can reschedule. But my experience tells me nothing will come of this, especially for "just" pot, and AZ is pretty open minded, if I remember correctly. This over zealous rookie screwed up, and it should work in your favor.
