How to report ex's second job to c/s agency(please answer)?
-
Before I even start I am not a gold digger and I do have a job THANK YOU! Anyway I got C/s for my child around November. And ex wasn't mad or anything probably because it's didn't even have to pay $300 a month, close but not even.I tried calling him to get him to see our child and he just made up excuses and he would never call.So I stopped calling him.It has now been many months since we've even spoken or seen each other. He pays his lil bit of c/s and that's it.He has never done anything else except that and only because he knew they would garnish his wages anyway and he likes his jon so he's not quitting it.Anyway last time I talked to him I asked him if he still worked at this other place and he said yeah! Then quickly said he had to go and I haven't heard from the loser since. So my question is if I report that other job that he has will they garnish his wages there too? It's like a small business but has anyone ever done something like this? I know I should have thought of it earlier but almostevery timee I sw him he had his uniform on for his main job and he said he worked there everyday so I think he works at the other place maybe once or twice a week.If he works somewhere else only a few days a week will they be able to garnish his wages from that? And for those wondering he has health insurance through his job and wasorderedd to put my child on his insurance and never did and they never enforced it.The c/s agency people said they can't enforce the medical part.So I hope he ends up paying the state backpartiallyy for the state health care I had to get for my child.

Answer:
If he is paying income tax for the second job, you could petition the court to receive additional child support, and if he was ordered by the court in the final decree to pay for the child's health insurance, then you could also add that to the same petition and take it in front of a judge to decide, and most judges will not go against the original judges decree so you will probably win the health insurance part of the petition but if he is being payed under the table for the second job then the burden of proof is on you to prove and that is not an easy thing to do since the courts won't investigate and if he lies in court and denies that he is working the second job, then you will have to settle on what you already get.
