  • Answer:

I am aware of no Law Enforcement Job that requires a degree in Criminal Justice Specifically. You got good advice. Do the Public Admin degree; it will work for both fields.

Pretty much all law enforcement jobs, including police officer and corrections officers require at least a BA degree. Don't be fooled by the minimum requirements of a high school diploma. None of them will get hired because these positions are very competative now and all that get selected have at least a BA degree. If you torn between public administration or criminal justice, go with criminal justice.

Law enforcement; varies with requirements for education at police departments..most agencies require a four year degree; e.g. FBI, ICE, U.S. Marshall Service, Homeland Security, etc..
