Was money used on CCTV a good use of money or does it just invade our private space?
-
Would money from government by used more wisely on other things than on CCTV because CCTV cannot solve everything. People do say it is invading their private space and that there is no need for it, however i want to know what you think? Please tell me what you think. All answers wil help for my coursework essay for my citizenship exam. Thanks

Answer:
A rather non-answer: I see the cams that litter the UK and I feel embarrassed for the subjects...NO sense of privacy, and the cameras don't deter crime, they just might make it easier to ID the punk who beat you into a coma. To me the [or an] answer is a few more 'feet on the street' - more neighborhood cops.
