You are too young! Also a restraining order would not be issued just because the girl thinks "I think I will get one of these". There has to be a reason for it to be issued. Did you know prisons are full of people who think '" I did not do anything wrong" So be warned and change whatever it is you are doing as it will impact heavily on your future.

To have a permanent restraining order entered, you are entitled and must receive a fair hearing before the court filing the motion. If the circumstances warrant a temporary order can be entered against you, but is only in effect until the date of the court hearing. Don't show up without a lawyer, chances are you won't win. And don't do anything stupid, like open your mouth.

a person can not just go get a restraining order against some-one with out giving proof that the restaraining order is needed so if you have done nothing wrong and you have not been making a nusance of your self, you have nothing to worry about

First off I'm pretty sure every state requires you to be 21 to be a police officer unless its the military. Secondly, if the restraining order is current you wouldn't be able to be a cop. If it is no longer current when you apply you should be fine as long as you have a good explanation. The only concrete disqualifiers are felonies or domestic violence. Cops know people are crazy, so you just have to be able to get them to realize you weren't in the wrong. Just stay out of trouble and you'll be fine.
