Lost my drivers license?

If I get pulled, and I don't have my drivers license, what are the consequences? I have my registration and updated license plate stickers, and everything else is updated, I just can't find my license. Just was wondering in case I got pulled, and I don't come across my license. I live in NC. I have a clean record and have been driving for a few plus years. I just never ran into this problem. I don't have the time or money to get a new one until I get paid next week, and it's an updated license. Will the cops just check me out on their computers? I shouldn't worry because I'm a safe driver, just curious.

You'll more than likely to get a ticket for no drivers license, but be sure that when it comes to your court date, that you have a drivers license on hand, and if I was you,I would be working on getting that right now.

Some States give you 24 hours to produce your license. Where I live there is no grace period - $150.00 fine immediately.
