Does Anyone know anything about the Ct Towing Law?

Officers, or anyone that know anything about law enforcement.?

• im 16 a girl and i may be going to jail. im being charged with felony theft, and waiting for probation to call. heres the story. me and my friend were walking when we see a random purse just laying on a table. we take it go through it dont take anything, then we go to put it back and the table was moved and occupied by old woman selling stuff. so i put it in my bag, we walked to the pop machines to decide what to do, we ran into a friend who is now a fo. she cleaned out the bag, she got the cell phone and wallet with money, drivers liscense ext. we left and now really not knowing what to do, we walk to another bathroom, we leave the purse in there. my frined says lets go find BLANK hell know what to do, so we walk and run into him, he says just leave it. we walk to the front of the bathroom. and stand. when we see the girl who cleaned out the purse already. she comes over, we tell her its in the bathroom. she goes in and cleans out all the rest of the stuff, 2 ipods, makeup. she gives one of the ipods to the guy, and keeps the rest for herself. we slpit up and go to our classes hoping itll be alright, i get called down, everyone else gets called down, i get arrested, the girl who cleaned out the purse gets arrested, my friend from the beging goes home, and the boy goes home. were all being charged with felony theft, sept the girl from the begining. i was put in jdc, on the 27 and was released on the 28. its been 10 days. waiting on probation to call. i dont even have a court date. im scared, they can put me on house arrest and prob and community service till im 18. im just scared to go to jail.. not jdc, JAIL. im not trying to get sympathy, im just asking what class felony is this?

  you will have to make full resitution and probally get probation until 18 years old in the meantime be very good at school and make good grades you will probally have too do some community service too in sc where i live they do a scared straight tour through the prison it seem to be simpl larceny unless there was alot of cash in there and did yall use the credit cards it doesnt really matter if you did or not if your friend did you are looking at more charges ...if all of you have been charged then you will have to split rest. unless one of you is older an considered an adult that person would face additonal charges an the boy if he knew the ipod was stolen should face charges of reciving stolen goods dont cover up for no one tell the truth you'll get thru this but let it be a lesson
