The best way to prepare to be a police officer?

Will this get in the way of me being a police officer?

    I don't know what state you are in,but-The age of consent in Florida is 18,but close in age exemptions exist. By law, the exception permits a person 23 years of age or younger to engage in legal sexual activity with a minor aged 16 or 17.... so you would be fine under Florida law. I would need to know which state you are in before being able to tell if you are okay in this case. During testing for becoming a police officer,the question WILL arise as to whether or not you have engaged in sexual activity with a minor. It was asked in two of the polygraphs I have taken. You would just need to explain the situation. Even if it was against the law,this might not be a disqualifier. Just be honest; that is what is most important in the law enforcement field.

no, a 16 year old can give consent to sex. If you were 5 years older than her and she were 15, it'd be a different story.

Depends on the state, here in Missouri, between 14 and 20 is kosher, however if you are 21 and she is less than 18 that is rape. This got all jacked up several years back, they repealed one law that affected several others. They have closed the bestiality loophole they created but they have never fixed this so it was more reasonable. I know when i did the polygraph for a Florida job the question have you had sex with a person less than 16, was on the test. Advise what state you are in and you will get better responses.

If there were no legal actions taken then it shouldn't bother your interests. If there were then you need to find another career.
