Would it be weird to have my mom turn in my application?

Am i able to send in my application to visit someobody in prison, under 18..?

• The prison is FMWCC (located in N. las vegas) Person i am trying to visit is my mother I am not allowed according to the D.A. to visit my mother, but I turn 18 in August. It is now may and the application takes approx 3 months to process. And well I want to visit my mom before I leave to college (in diff state). Therefore if i send in my app on my bday when I am 18 o WILL NOT be able to visit her until winter break... So will i be able to send in the app when i am 18, even though it will not be approved until i am almost or am already 18?? Or do i have to wait till i am 18?

  You have to be actually 18 at the date of application. That is the date it is sent in. That may not actually be the final say however. I do not know the court case, so I do not know why the judge deemed it necessary for you to not be able to see your mother. they could actualy say you cannot see her even as an adult. You needot check with the DA to find out the actual facts around your case. Good luck!
