How do I become a navajo nation police officer?

• Ive been wanting to become a navajo nation police officer for a little while now I want to do it so i can be close to my family and so i can be closer to my tribe and my traditions does anyone know what you have to do in order to become one? Ive heard that there are only a few navajo nation police, so does that mean its hard to become one or that not many navajo's are willing too? oh and im navajo btw

  Why the hell would you want to do that? Working as an officer on the reservations is a nightmare. You have to deal with the state statute and tribal laws at the same time and nothing ever gets done. Plus, not sure if you understand it, but don't expect to get closer to the people of your tribe by being the one to arrest them. Expect to become an outcast as many of them will look at you with nothing but hate.
