How can I get a driving left of center ticket dismissed in NC?

Driving left of center ... using the opposing lanes of traffic (ex. North bound in the South bound lanes)? Very dangerous action if that's the case. Judge might not want to reduce that one. Most drivers would know better. Better for you if it's a violation for driving in the left lane on a divided highway when the right lane is clear, you might get away with the explanation that you did not know it was illegal. [ignorance of the law is not a real defense for the violation ... it's more like a plea for mercy]. If you have a really good reason for driving left of center ... don't be surprised if the judge haas heard it a thousand times, be even less surprised if the judge is not impressed. There are very few valid reasons for driving left of center on the road. Maybe you will get a nice merciful judge.
