How Do You Get Off Probation Early?

Can i get off felony probation early?

• Hi, im on felony probation in michigan for 3 years and i've been on probabtion for almost a year now. I've heard other people talking about getting off early if u pay off all your court fees and do well that they quite possibly will. I owe like $1,250 some dollars and from what i gather about probation is that all the courts really care about is the money. so i just really hope i can get off early if i pay that off and serve half or more of my probation. When i first started out on propbabtion i did get a couple violations for smoking weed and then another one a month later for leaving the state and cutting off my sobriety tether. The judge cut me a break and after sending me to jail sent me to a halfway house type rehab facility for three months. Im just hoping for some feedback from others who've been on felony probation because im beginning to feel really hopeless about probation, i was barely 17 when i commited the offense but was charged as an adult, is there any way i'll get off early or is it hopeless?

  I have been serving a probation sentence for 4 years going on 5yrs. Flint adult probation and the po will tell you that they hold the key to your discharge which is not the case they are the ones that will put in for an early discharge after that $1,250 is paid off but the judge has the final say so I am going to say if you pay it you have a 50% chance of getting an early discharge I am paying the rest of my fines this month and asking my po to put in an early discharge request. just keep in mind that you can NOT catch another CASE WHILE ON PROBATION that will eliminate that early discharge request you should ask your po for hope this helps I wish you the best of luck :).
