Will my license get suspended?

Minor, drove unrestricted hours. will i get my license suspended?

• Hi, i am 17 years old and got my license (jol) at 16 1/2, after completing drivers ed. Ive had my license for about 8 months, and last night i got pulled over for driving an uninspected car. I have been driving it for 8 months and never got it inspected, when i thought it was. It was an honest mistake and isn't a big deal. He ticketed me 50 bucks for that. Then he told me i wasn't allowed to drive in the hours of 12:30-5am. I believed that was only for the first 6 months of having my jol so i thought i was all set. Turns out i was wrong again. This all happened at 1:30am, and i had 2 people in the car with me. We were coming home from a concert. Anyways he ticketed me another 35 bucks and just told me to pay or appeal it in court. I was going to just pay and get it over it, until i read online that the first offense of driving in unrestricted hours with a jol is a 60 day suspension, and many of my friends told me that it's true, and that you will get a letter in the mail telling you it is suspended along with a 100 dollar fee. The cop never mentioned that to me. So i need help, should i pay the 85, or appeal it in court? The problem is i am leaving the state for the summer. I'm not sure what to do, but i cannot have my license suspended! I work full time, and it was an honest mistake! help. :(

  It's a suspension. You "didn't know" a lot of things. A driver has to make sure he knows the law concerning driving. I don't see where you have anything to appeal. 1:30 is 1:30 Perhaps a lawyer could help.
