What happens if I am pulled over in Pinellas County, Florida without Motorcycle Endorsement?

  • I have been enrolled in the basic rider course, I passed my written test with a 98%, but the course would not schedule me my final day for the road testing in over a month, and they have made it very difficult. The only other option is to go with the second and only other rider course, pay a new $225 fee, and start from scratch. What happens if I am riding in Pinellas County, Florida and get pulled over without the endorsement but let them know I have passed the written test (they can verify) they just wont schedule me for my last day to do the road test? CAN Police in Pinellas County pull motorcycles over and if so, for what causes? Thanks!

Without the ACTUAL endorsement, you will more than likely get the bike towed, you can be arrested for driving w/o endorsement, fined and face a license suspension. Can they pull mc's over? Of course, why not???

They can pull motorcycles over for any reason. Fact is, you still don't have a license to ride the bike, regardless if you've passed the written test or not. If you get stopped without the full license, they can tow the bike (because you don't have a license to ride it, and they really can't allow you to ride without a license), issue you tickets for improper license, and when it comes to court they can possibly delay your getting the license even longer. Easier to wait until you have the full license??
