Criminal Investigation?

What do you do when you study Criminal investigation?

  • I am really fasinated in serial killers, and death, and stuff and i was wondering what what you would study exactually if you went into criminal investigation? What grades would you need to go into this profession? And Any thing possible that you can tell me about this would be just great!

  • Answer:

No special course of study. In fact a general liberal arts course of study is best. To investigate crimes you have to know a little about a lot, know how to get or who to go to to get deeper information, have excellent critical thinking skills and know how to use logic. A specific course of study, before you become someone who investigates crimes, is no good. It limits your thinking. Once you have spent the time to become the police and learned to react with and to read people you can then take specific classes to hone your skills and increase specific knowledge. Until then yu simply do not know enough even to ask the right questions of an ad visor.
