How do i collect money from my mom?

My boyfriend's mom burned down her house on purpose to collect money and blamed her son for the fire?

  • Now the police wants to talk to him and if he tells the truth he would be putting his own mom in jail for 22 years. Hes going tomorrow and just praying they will let him go somehow. He doesnt want to put his mom in jail because of her kids and now hes saying he has nothing to lose but hes only 20! We have no idea what to do. Hes so scared is there anything you can suggest to get out of this situation?

The police may not believe that it was him that started the fire. They probably just want to talk to him to get his side of the story. The only thing you can hope for is The police will see through his story & realize It was the mom who started the fire. If this goes to trial he must listen to his attorney. With a threat of jail a court defender is used for people who cant afford an attorney.

Some lawyers will take a case 'pro bono' (no cost to you), and some do not charge for a consultation. Consult with one, or see one who is provided free by your state (every state has these agencies). He should not speak to the police without a lawyer..anything he says can and will be held as evidence. Good luck.
