Technologists in the health care field work in many different areas: - medical labs - radiology - cardiology - biomechanical - nuclear medicine - cancer treatment - EEG - respiratory - surgical tech - etc. There are MDs and PhDs who do work in these fields, but aren't usually known for being a "health tech."
