Why is my left eyelid twitching?

I need help, lower left eyelid has been twitching for 12 days?

• The fifth day after I finished a tiring project my lower left eyelid has been twitching. It gets more serious when I wash face with warm water. I have already tried to have a good rest but it keeps annoying me. After taking two kinds of medicine the doctor gave me for 2 days, it keeps twitching. The medicine just makes me sleepy all day. My left eye was tired indeed, because I was wearing contact lens (before twithing) and the left len does not have enough strength. Could anybody give me some good advice? Thanks a lot.

  This is seemingly natural, I had a twitch like this just below my eye once, it's probably just an irritated or pinched nerve, not anything to worry about, just annoying. Should eventually return to normal ( mine took three weeks)
