Is practical nursing a hard study?

Is nursing REALLY hard??? to study in australia?

  • Im 19 and thinking of doing nursing, I do not have a strong academic background, throughout my schooling years I was severely depressed due to child abuse and neglect and missed alot of school, now I want to help others but im worried I will fail school.

  • Answer:

Nothing attempted nothing achieved! Please contact the university you are interested in offerring the course you want. Send in your acedeamic results and a m accompanyiing letter stating the circumstances in your life, which has contributed to the poor performance in acedemic results. You may still be considered, but they may ask you to come for some apptitude assessments. Some univerities do take life experiences into account to. You dont have anything to loose.. so instead of being 100% negative, apply for the nursing course you want, and you have increased your chances to 50:50. Also this is a perfect chance to talk to the teachers on the course, to ask any questions you may need more information on.

You worry too much. It is Australia and everybody comes with different cultural and academic background. You have to contact an education agent or the selected education provider to study in Australia. Even you are not accepted at first, do not give up. You can start with some related courses and apply for your dream nursing course later. It gives you a chance to have experience and also to see you are really into nursing.
