Why does my eye keep twitching if im only 14?

  • my eye (left eye) keeps twitching. my parents say its because of stress. but im not stressed out... how do i know if im stressed out? the only hings i could be stressing out about is: i really want an ipod touch 4g 32gb my parents are losing money and im becoming poor i need new clothes my parents are becoming very ill

    It could be muscle fatigue as well. Are you staring at a computer, video or TV screen for a long period of time? Reading a lot? Give your eyes a break every now and then by looking at something far away. You might need glasses too.

Yes it is because of stress. If your stressed your usually tired, mad, or sad. Or either that you don't get enough sleep. My eye started to twitch, but I stopped playing video games and it was better.

If you think about these things often (which, I know you do), it is "stressful". It happens to me since I was about 10 & I'm younger than you by a year. The twitching slows down, but it may also be because of blood flow. I have automic nervous system dysfunction which blood rapidly flows. Eat food with salt! It helps stop it.

Perhaps you need more magnesium as in nuts.
