How would one go about ridding him/herself of sinus pressure?

Sinus pressure and weird eye spasm?

  • For the past month, I've been experiencing a weird eye muscle spasm, mainly on my right side. I got a cold back in late November, and felt like I was having some sinus pressure. I woke up one day and noticed that my right eye (not eyelid) but the entire eye would shift spastictlly all day long. Sometimes I would get double vision in that eye and then the eye would return back.. now the spastic muscle is not in the eye, it seems to be near the cheek bone and leading up to the side of my nose. I've had more than usual sinus pressure, so could that be why I'm getting this spasm (that seems like its my eye but really the underlying muscles that help the eye focus and shift) ?. Has anyone ever experienced this before? I still have have the sinus pressure so my guess was the pressure was irritating the underlying muscles and therefore why I am expereincing this . It did go away prior to Christmas, then all the sudden again, I woke up one morning..and the spastic eye was back. Could be the lack of sleep? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

  • Answer:

I sometimes used to get that. I had uneven pressure due to an obstruction in my eustachian tube, which links your ear, nose and throat. And the pressure would push air up under my eye/sinus.
