Question about a blocked nose?

I'm fed up with this stuffy nose?!?

• Okay, so I've had a stuffy nose for almost 4 days STRAIGHT. Usually it's only my right nostril, but sometimes it clears up (very briefly, probably only about a minute when it does clear), sometimes it's only my left one, and sometimes it's both. I'm usually breathing out of my mouth, but even then it's pretty difficult to breathe. :\ I've tried EVERYTHING, it seems :( Vicks (I tried sniffing it but none got in because everything was so blocked! Zero help!), humidifier (again, too blocked up, nothing at all got in), propping up pillows at night (stiff neck in the morning, ouch), that one method where you alternate pressing between your eyes and the roof of your mouth to drain sinuses (only drained my left nostril, the clear one! ugh!), taking pills (absolutely NOTHING), and even simply blowing my nose or sneezing doesn't work (blowing my nose only clears my already-clear left nostril, and only makes a really loud noise, hehe, AND makes me a little light headed cuz I blow too hard...sometimes I even get light headaches. Sneezing, stuff only comes outta the left.) And finally, to top it all off, both nostrils run, and sometimes i cant feel when the blocked one is running. How is that even possible...? And since I'm rubbing it all the time, the skin is getting chapped and red and dry. seriously, fml. I'm sure that there are cases worse than mine, but this is just making me really miserable. And so, finally, my question is...Are there any DIY home remedies that are practically, if not completely, guaranteed to work no matter what (ones that I HAVE NOT tried)??? • Answer:

  Sounds like you have post nasal drip and possibly a sinus infection. Tell your doctor everything and she'll give you medicines for it. In the mean time, drink plenty of water and use a humidifier.
