One of UAB's teachers is forsing her students to wear surgical masks in class. It is not mandatory from UAB, and she makes the students pay for the masks. Should we have to pay to replace the one that we lost or didnt get?

Thats college for you. The masks are cheap and if money is a problem then ask another student if you could have one of theirs since they usually get sold in pairs. However, you should check the campus clinic if there is one and see if they have any complimentary masks.
