Answer:
Everytime you want a cigarette break one and chew the tobacco it will make you sick. Then everytime after you do that think of chewing the cigarette. It made me quit and I smoked from 13 to about 3 weeks ago and I am almost 18

I smoked for about 2 years and still on occasion and smoked about as much as you, if you've never smoked menthols you should try them, they made me sick and i would make myself buy them until i quit
You need a really really good, excellent, compelling reason to quit. Maybe your is: I don't wanna get lung cancer. Or I want to be friends with these other people who don't smoke, and they don't want me to smoke around them. Or I only like the folks who don't smoke. Until you have figured out your compelling reason to quit, it may be impossible to quit. I quit once by telling myself that I could smoke one cigarette a month. I believed then that if I thought I could NEVER HAVE ANOTHER CIGARETTE I would not be able to quit. Well, that worked for about 6 weeks, maybe 8 or 9. But I was bumming cigarettes off a girlfriend who finally told me that I was smoking, to admit it, and buy my own cigarettes. I tried to quit several times, often not for more than about 20 minutes. Finally I decided that I didn't like dating/kissing smokers, and they were the only ones I dated. So I really did quit that time, knowing I can NEVER AGAIN HAVE A CIGARETTE and I CANNOT HANG OUT WITH SMOKERS BECAUSE THE SMELL OF THEIR NICOTINE OVERWHELMS MY DETERMINATION TO STAY OFF CIGARETTES. I have been off cigarettes and any other smoking for over thirty years now, and I think it was the hardest thing I ever did. I sat on my hands much of the first 3 months and cried. But I made it. I waited until I had quit for a little over two weeks before I breathed a word to anyone that I thought I might be quitting because I had been two weeks without a cigarette. But I cautioned them that I might not make it, but at least had started. I kept telling myself when I wanted cigarettes that I cannot smoke just one. They are worse for me than Lay's Potato Chips! I have to totally avoid the cigarettes and anyone while they are smoking. I wish you the best. And I hear that some people go to their doctors nowadays to get pills or patches to help them get over the nicotine addiction. I guess they help some folks but not others. I think that even for the ones on pills, they must KNOW THAT THEY CAN NEVER HAVE A CIGARETTE AGAIN or be around others while they smoke. WHAT IS YOUR COMPELLING REASON??
