I get lots of sleep so why am i still so tired?

i go to bed around midnight wake up bout 10am when i wake up i find it had to stay awake so i usually fall back asleep till midday or 1pm - then i get up but i start feeling tired again around 5 pm ..... i have low iron and my sugar levels r probably low since iv had to cut back on junk food (im still thin tho) i cant seem to stay awake and iv increased my meat intake and im taking iron supplements nd im still low iron is there anyway i can stop feeling so tired??

There could be many reasons for this fatigue problem and if you can overcome it you should feel a lot better. A B50 or B100 is a very potent vitamin B complex including lots of vitamin B12 (the energy vitamin) and that should boost your energy level. You could also take a high potency energy multivitamin that also includes lots of vitamin B12. If you take vitamin B12 alone you are likely to create an imbalance with the other B vitamins which all interact so the B complex or a multivitamin is better than vitamin B12 alone. Coenzyme Q10 is a good energy enzyme to take. It also slows down the aging process. It is mainly intended for people over 40 or even older such as over 50 or over 60. You can also get more energy enzymes from more fruit and vegetables to boost your energy level. Spirulina (very high in chlorophyll) is another energy boosting food. Liquid chlorophyll is another one.

You may have an underlying medical condition, which you would need to seek medical attention. However, you may have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. You may want to incorporate exercising into your daily routine. You may have to force yourself w/being so tired, but I have a feeling you may feel somewhat better. Wake up! :)

Depression can mean that you want to sleep and it can make you generally tired. If you're feeling down generally then you might want to try visiting the official NHS direct website and taking the depression test. There's also some useful information on there about depression. It might not be depression though. Energy breeds energy (simple equation) if you lie around all day watching TV or whatever, you'll feel tired, if you go for a walk (even just for 10 minutes) it can make you feel brighter and give you energy.

sleeping too much is just as bad as sleeping too little so make yourself stay awake if you have to. try not to sleep any more than 8 hrs a day and start exercising, as much as you can, it'll help you feel more energetic eat more fruits/veggies and no processed foods or fast foods

This sounds crazy but you are getting to much sleep that's why. It is scientifically proven that if you get any less or any more than 7-8 hours of sleep a day, your energy levels will deplete. If possible try to sleep less. If you have less than 7 hours of sleep, then your body has troubles functioning through out the day. 9 hours of sleep is okay, But anymore than 8, your body is worn out because it hasnt functioned for a while. so your body doesnt know how to cope.

It could be chronic fatigue syndrome, but you should also have your thyroid checked. That could be causing it too. You need to make an appointment with your primary care doctor so he or she can do some tests. Good luck.

A deficiency in the B-vitamins also causes tiredness!! Get an iron infusion and a vitamin B12 injection administered by the doctor/nurse (justin bieber and angelia jolie get them done as well)
