Ingrown toe nail is back on same toe same side.?
-
I had an Ingrown toenail on my Left Big toe. That was a couple months ago. Today I noticed it look's like its back, luckily I noticed before it got infected so I cleaned it and bandaged it up. My toe nail ( well atleast half of my toenail) didn't grow back, but it looks like i'm getting a second one Is this possible? And if so how will i get it treated at home or the doctor?

Answer:
this is very common actually. the fact is that the nail grows from inside your toe which is called the matrix so the problem is there. if you are concerned that this is going to be an ongoing problem that you cannot fix yourself....you can go to the dr and see if its possible to remove the nail at the matrix. however im assuming that this is going to be surgery and probably pretty painful.
