Pain in thumb months after injury?
-
so back in January, I was at a setting camp for volleyball. When I set a spike, my thumb got twisted, or something, and it was the worst pain I've ever felt. I honestly thought I would throw up. Anyway, I didn't go to the doctor, but for months after it hurt. Since then, the thumb muscle has been pretty weak, and sometimes it'll hurt again. I had to wear a brace for a week after. is this a serious problem? I play volleyball everyday, and I set a lot... thanks!

Answer:
I had pain like that in my thumb, I stretch it out when I can and back off of using it heavily as its weaker for some reason. I haven't seen a doctor about it either yo can if you want there isn't much they could do to really help yo maybe tell you to ice it and x-ray it if its fractured it will heal if not stretch it and ice it.
