I had a foot injury 5 months ago...joint of my big toe and along the inside of my foot. y is it still hurting?

its my right foot, i thought my injury was a dislocation of my toe or something b/c i had stood up and it popped and felt fine for about an hour. then it began to hurt again. now after 5 months it still hurts. i don't know how it happened i think i may have kicked the wall in my sleep. but it hurts still on the bottom of my foot where my big toe joint is and along the inside part of my foot. it pops a lot when i walk to. and it hurts when i stand or bend my toes. can someone please tell me whats wrong with my toe and foot? i went to a doctor and he didn't know. please someone help me out. ty so much!
