What to do about a bruise?

What is the quickest way possible for getting rid of a bruise on your leg?

  • Hey I need help finding a way to get rid of a bruise on my leg. It's beginning to get hot... and summer is coming pretty fast so with capri's on it is not such a pretty picture with a big bruise on my leg. I tried looking ALL OVER the internet for solutions. I tried putting a cold pack on it a hot pack. I tried eating as many fruits... and covering it up with make up but nothing. O and I need a fast and simple way. I am telling you know... I am not going to buy any fancy gell or lotion or whatever. I need something easily available to anyone in new jersey and it needs to be simple. The bruise is not too huge... matter of fact it went down a bit. and i know its the bleeding from inside the body blah blah... o and i might get bruises easily cuz i dont eat as healthy as i should :D ... so yea if you can help that would be GREAT!!!!! so please help and ill choose a best answer for one...so that one of you can get 10 extra points... THANX!!!!

I know you said that you know that a bruise is bleeding internally, but thats just it. You can't really stop it, it will heal when it heals. To reduce swelling and help it heal a little quicker would be putting an ice pack on it, elevating the leg above the heart, and taking tylenol. pleeaasseee don't take tylenol just because i said so because im not sure i just saw it on a website i don't want you to get sick.

The best thing to do is to get some Ibuprofen (Motrin). It will help the inflammation. But take it with some milk to avoid an upset tummy. Follow directions exactly on the box.
