How do you stop swelling in your thumb?

What's wrong with my thumb!!?? Please help I'm very scared!!!!?

Ok I broke my thumb 7 1/2 weeks ago. I got my cast off a month ago. I had x-rays done and they said its still broken. They didnt give me another cast or anything. About three weeks ago I had x-rays again they said thar it was still broken. Well I think something else is wrong besides my broken thumb. It still really hurts. Here's my symptoms. *Swelling *Bruising *Coldness *Unable to move index finger and thumb without pain *Tingling *Non-Stop throbing *Lots of pain (can't sleep) *Numbness I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks from today. What do you think is wrong? What should I do?
Answer:

It is still broken, I'm not sure why they have not resplinted it but I would go to a walk in clinic or the emergency room and tell them all these symptoms and hopefully they will xray it, prescribe pain killers and resplint it hope this helps
