Physical Therapy for Broken Wrist?

What do wrist sprains feel like?/Do I have one?/Is my wrist broken?

  • Today while playing catch I happened to trip upon some rocks and some how my wrist got hurt while that happened and at first it just hurt a little and I didn't really think about it and I continued to use my hand/arm/wrist through out the day and the pain gradually got worse and worse. Later in the day after school I noticed that my wrist was swollen and the pain became more noticeable and it continued to get worse and worse. And I can't bend my wrist/hand backwards which I can do with the other hand and I can't really bend it forward all that much - I can bend it forward a little but not much. It fells tingly and numb and it also feels more numb when I touch all the way from the tip of my fingers to a little before my elbow. It also feels tight, like when I close my hand its hard and it just feels tight and weird when I move my fingers around but when I move my wrist it's not all tight (Not that I can really/properly move my wrist). So, if I have a sprain could you also tell me what grade sprain it might be? Do I maybe have a fracture? Is my wrist broken what? And what does each grade of sprains feel like within the wrist (Please give a good description if you can)? And What do fractures and breaks feel like with the wrist? Thanks!
