How long would it take to heal long gash on the back from knife wound? With stitches? After they're removed?
-
I'm writing a book and need to know in detail what the wound care and healing process would be like both with stitches and after they are removed. Any advice would be great!

Answer:
length is not as important as depth. sutures remain in place 10 to 14 days, after which the wound should be healed
