How long should it take for a puncture wound on a foot to heal?
-
About 10 days ago I stepped on a toothpick and it punctured the ball of my foot, it still hurts to put all my weight on it, and I didn't go to a doctor cause I'm pretty sure I got it all out and I didn't think it was a big deal (it was a stupid toothpick!) But now I'm worried cause the pain is still pretty bad ..the wound closed and looks fine except for a small hard bump.....Is this normal? Should it really take this long to heal???
