WHat do you call a bruise doctor?

• My friend told me a forensic pathologist is the best person to measure what time a bruise happen. This what happen, My friend and his cousin got in a fight at a bar. My friend cousin got bruises on his hand, the person who they were fighting got hit in the stomach. The person who got hit in the stomach told the police my friend did it but it was his cousin, Could a doctor measure both bruise and can say what time it happen? meaning the both bruise happen at the same time, Now we have to hire a doctor to clear my friend. Can anyone help me. plus what do you call the theory or scale they use to figure it out. I need help thanks
