My middle finger (second finger) suddenly started hurting when I was playing my viola, any help?
-
I've been playing viola for five years and my fingers are already caloused in the tips. I was practicing my c scale to warm up when my second finger (middle finger) suddenly shot up with pain. Now the tip is extremly sensitive and any touch of movement in the slighest feels like when you donate blood and they prick your finger to check your irnon level. (that's how I found I'm anemic) I have no idea what's wrong, it's almost like I have an invisible metal splinter in my finger. Maybe a nerve demage? Any ideas? Thanks!
