What Is The Highest Blocking Moldable Earplugs?

Shooting without earplugs ruined my hearing? PLEASE help?

• Hey guys. I'm a 20 year old male, and yesterday i went shooting for about a half hour without earplugs. We were shooting a .380ACP pistol. It wasn't loud enough to make my ears ring when I shot it, but I'm sure it's not good. I only took 3 shots with my ears uncovered, when my friend shot I covered them. I have a slight 'discomfort' in my eyes this morning, nothing bad though. In my lifetime, (Past year specifically) I went shooting 3 times without earplugs. Out of all those times combined, I only took about 12 shots without earplugs in. When my friends shoot, I always cover my ears. I do like to wear earplugs, but It's usually spur of the moment so I don't have them on me. My question is, do you think i've damaged my hearing for good, based on how little I've shot without them? I've shot a .40 cal mostly. Thanks guys, I'm just depressed I'm so young & may have ruined my hearing over this, it want to make me cry almost because you only get one set of ears.   Okay you need to go to a doctor but a .40 cal defiantly blew out your ears. From now one you will prolly be partially deaf but check with your doctor as it might only be temporary. If there was no bleeding you will not go permanently deaf but it is still a serious issue. Please go to your doctor.
