Ankle pain. No swelling but very painful?

I have an inner ankle pain with no swelling?

  • I woke up one morning with a pain in the inner side of the ankle. I can't put any weight on it when I'm tiptoeing, I can only walk flat footed. The pain comes and goes, and isn't really severe. I have no swelling or redness, I can turn it with no problems. The only time it hurts is when I have to put weight on it. I went to see the doctor a week ago and she gave me an ace bandage and told me to rest it. I don't know if there's a deeper problem to my ankle pain. I'm hoping for some advice on how to take care of it so it heals quickly and what my problem might be.

  • Answer:

Lay down and have it elevated. I'm sure it will go away soon, just don't injure it or walk on it too much.
