How long does it take my fractured fibula to heal?

i didnt c a doc for a week when my fibila got fractured..i thought it was a twisted ankle so i walked around on it for a few days... untill i deicicded to check with a doc.. he put my bone back in the proper place n put me in a cast.. im wonderin how long will it take for it to heal since i wasted so much time b4 goin to a doc.. its a spiral fracture on my distal fibila near my ankle
