Do I have a sprained knee?

My Grandma has a sprained knee please help?

• Last week my Grandma messed up he knee by scooting her chair out from under the table. Her regular doctor has been on vacation so we went to urgent care and the doctor said it was a sprained knee and there was nothing he could do but rap it up with a ace bandage. the bandage seemed to help with the pain but it stopped working so she took it off. Its been about a week sense we went to urgent care and in that time her knee has swollen from the size of a base ball to a large softball. and she has developed huge bruises one one her knee cap and a huge one that starts at the back of her knee and continues down her calf and stops at about her ankle. she says it is extremely painful to stand on and bend and even hurts when she is laying down. is their anything we can do to stop the swelling a bruising ??? we believe it may be cause by the medication Coumadin she is taking for a irregular heart beat thanks for the help -Phillip
