Do You Know When The First Open-Heart Surgery Was?

When to get surgery done?

• I am going to be having wrist surgery at some point to repair a TFCC tear and DRUJ tear. I am trying to figure out when to have this surgery. I can either have it during the summer or in the winter. There are pros and cons to each of these times and I don't know when to have the surgery done. We haven't talked to the doctor about the surgery at all yet because we just talked to the doctor who first looked at my wrist about what he found out from the MRI. So therefore i don't know how long the recovery time is and everything. When would you have the surgery? If I did it during the summer i would be missing out on some of my summer and part of work, but i would also be getting the surgery out of the way and back to normal faster. If i go with the winter, I would be waiting at least 6 months to do it surgery, but would also be a time where it doesn't affect work, school, etc. Also i was looking to visit my best friend in California during the winter, but i don't think the surgery would affect this trip. So let me know what you think and if you have any other pros and cons about this subject let me know! thanks!

  I would do the surgery now and get out of the way like you said also to speed up the recovery process your surgery is probably going to be ambulatory it's like a clinic where the hospital is it's in the complex don't worry about it you'll be fine.
