What are medical reasons to get a nose job?

I Want to get a nose job done..my nose is not perfect I want a small and sharp nose?

  • I think im really concerned about my nose and ive lost my self confidence because of it..i just want to know the procedure for a nose job and do they use anesthesia?? does it hurt? and how much time does it take to heal completely? and what is the cost of getting a nose job?? please no rude comments ..thanks a lot in advance :)

    A nose job does last forever, and there is not silicone used. Silicone is used in breast enlargements, so the first answer is way off. A nose job (Rhinoplasty) is major surgery, and you will be given anesthesia. If you have a breathing problem, it could be covered by insurance, otherwise it runs several thousands of dollars, involves at least a night in the hospital, and several weeks of healing until the bruises are gone. You will have two black eyes and pain. I had a nose job 25 years ago, and have no regrets. You get pain medication, so that isn't too bad. I do find it hard to believe you have lost your self confidence because of your nose. Best wishes.

This might be no help but I wouldn't do that if I were you. Plastic surgery means fake, plastic, barbie to me. It won't last, One day, the silicon in your nose will dissolve and you have to re-do it again and again. You don't have to be pretty to have self confidence. You just need to try and have a positive mind. :) Your parents created you, and you inherited you nose from your mom/dad. I don't see them trying to change the way they are. And not everyone is perfect. I don't have a perfect teeth but people like me for who I am. Beauty never lasts forever. But on the inside, we do. ^^

Call few plastic surgeons and ask this Q? point blank. Rihinoplastisics is the name of this speciality. Slang is Nose Job. But here are some answers. 1). Yes you will be knocked out, (anesthesia is used). 2). Hurts for sure. 3). Healing will depend on many things, good in few weeks but complete healing may take a long time.

Woah!!! hold on. Ur flag is India right, that means you live there. DO NOT THINK ABOUT A NOSE JOB AT THE MOMENT!!!!!! Plastic surgery for your nose will not give you permanent solution of your problem. Self confidence does not depend on your physical structure, it depends on your education and mental set-up. Try to be happy with your physique which was inherited from your parents. Gene factor plays a predominant part for your size,shape,colour,etc.Don't bother for physical change.If you want to be a model or actor, then you can try.
