How do I know that I broke my ankle?

How do I know if I sprained/fractured/broke?? my ankle?

  • So I was running as fast as I possibly could and I got intoy yard outside and my ankle twisted while I was running really fast. So then while that happened I heard like a snap and then I fell onto my trampoline cause it was right there and it's been like an hour and now it hurts really bad and it is swollen. Please help me!!

First off, see a doctor. I can't answer if i can't see it, but touch around the sorest spot and touch it, if you say ow, it's not too bad. If tears come to your eyes and you see stars, make your way to the nearest E.R.

Sprained it really hurts really bad. To know if its fractured it has to be a boney deformity or you can do the easy way and get a x-ray of the bone. A broken bone is where it's not in its proper place and you can sometimes see it, but like the fractured one its easier to get a x-ray. A broken bone where you can't feel it happens sometimes but not always.

I have sprained my ankle twice, and it had swollen an unbelievable amount for days, which made me think is was broken, the doctor said he couldn't really tell without an x-ray.

Sir M

If you truly did hear a snap sound. It may be completely broken or just fracture. I recommend going to get an X-RAY if it hurts to put any weight on it.

1. It should hurt 2. Go to doctor 3. Get a op. :)
