Area below wrist feels stiff?

I recently got a blood test done and while the blood was being drawn I felt a stark kind of a 'SHOCK'!!! I suddenly jerked my hand and as I looked shocked the guy consoled that everything was okay. But since the next day I haven't been able to extend my arms fully. The area where the blood was being drawn (elbow) hurts badly including the wrist and now after a week the pain hasn't subsided. It is in the the left wrist area feels like the vain. P.S. I'm 19 and daibetic for 10 years type -1 adn haven't been keeping a tab on my blood sugar so can it be neuropathy? Also I have been exercising like pull ups and stuff so can it be due to and internal injury due to poor warm up?

this common after blood tests and injection it happened to me also but pain somehow went away. you should try to massage that portion gently with some effective cream or oil.
