What is the injury Hernia?

What are some workouts I can do without effecting my sports hernia?

  • I've been in pain for about 10 weeks now (mostly my groin), and it probably hasn't gotten any better because I've done sprint workouts here and there...I only recently discovered that it could possibly be a sports hernia, because my abdomen was in quite a bit of pain during certain exercises as well. Anyway, I haven't done anything in a couple of weeks, and I can't stand it any more. What are some things that I can do that wouldn't aggravate the hernia, or just the groin injury if it isn't a hernia? I'm still in great shape, but I feel like I'm losing all of the work that I put in over the last few years...

Hello KZ, I will not send you hate mail. In your own words, however, I will let you know on no uncertain terms, if you are in a lot of pain from a possible hernia, deal with it. If you have this much going on, the only thing you can do to not aggravate it is stop fooling around and go get it checked out. If you keep going the way you sound like you are now and it keeps getting worse, you won't be able to bench press your way out of a paper bag. Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.
