How to identify an ear piercing infection?

Ear lobe infection - 2 ear piercing holes close together in left ear only?

• Had ears pierced in 01 and closed later on since not wearing earrings. Had them pierced again in 07. The right ear was pierced in the same old position which grew very well. BUT the left ear was pierced in a different place, which is close to the old hole. VERY easily get infected and HARD to get the earring in, sometimes don't know which way it comes through. Very easily get infected. I was so determined and had it pierced AGAIN in 2010 in the 2007 hole. SInce I am not wearing earrings every day, it gets so easily to be closed. Very hard even to find the hole. Did I miss anything within the first 6 to 8 weeks? OR is it just because the holes were close to each other?

  You can switch earring after 8 weeks but DO NOT leave holes without an earring for 6+ month to ensure the hold will not close.
