Mosquito/fly bite, possibly infected? help!?
-
my son had a mosquito or fly bite on the back of his neck. when his dad was using the buzzer to cut his hair, he accidentally nicked the bite leaving 2 small little scratches. that was 2 days ago now the bite doesn't even look like a bite. it almost looks rashy like. a few small raised red bumps that appear to almost resemble dry skin. i cleaned the area with peroxide and applied neosporin but it didn't seem to help. anybody know what it could be? help!

Answer:
A quick trip to the walk in clinic should be able to take care of such a thing. Sounds like it did start as a bite and got a little infected. It's likely that a small dose of pennicillin should be able to do the trick :D
