Can Honey stop the bleeding on your skin when you get cut please?

Cut finger, won't stop bleeding? help!?

  • My cousin cut her finger on a piece of metal, the skin ripped off so it's an open raw slice/cut, and it has been bleeding for over a day now non-stop i guess, she thinks she cant get stitches because the skin is ripped off its not a regular cut. any ideas what she can do?

    Well since you said metal there is also a possibility she might need a tetnus shot, depending on when her last one was. Also, apply pressure, and can you see bone, or yellow fatty tissue? That's a definite sign of needing stitches. In addition, if it is very long, or wide there is also that possibility too that it may need stitches. But I do think she should see a doctor, whether it be a pediatrician, or ER.

Put a pressure dressing on it and quit taking it off. She should probably go see a doctor. Even if they can't put sutures in it they can still make sure the bleeding stops. All that school they go to covers more than sewing.

Get to a hospital or clinic and get it cleaned and bandaged. For a cut like that it'll take time to heal.
