How to heal cut on corner of lip?

I hit my lip and now the corner of my lip is cut?

• I fell and hit my lip on my bed. It scratched the corner of my lip so that it has a cut. It hurts when I open my mouth wide and I was wondering if I can get rid of it asap? Does neosporin or anythign like that work? I have something called zapzyt that gets ride of like acne and scars would that help aha? thankyou!

  Hi,well no that zapzyt isn't going to help you much.What you need is some kind of salve,like a chap-stick or an antibiotic,either or will work.Just keep it moist for a day or so,then allow the area to dry up so it will heal.You don't want to keep that area moist for a long time,if you do then it will not heal very fast.Try not to lick that area all the time either,this will slow down the healing process.Good luck to you.
