How to stop your lip from bleeding?

My boyfriends lip won't stop bleeding?

  • HELP! My boyfriends dad punched him and his lip is bleeding alot :( I'm not there at the moment I just heard everything through the phone and he ran into his room and hes in there asking me how to stop the bleeding he said it's not bleeding as bad anymore but plz answer

    Have him wad up a bit of tissue or cloth and hold it firmly to the cut. Do not remove this or it could break it back open. Allow that to set on there for an hour or so to give it time to heal a bit. It then should be safe to peel it off slowly and carefully. Hope this helps him! :)

his dad punched him???first thing i would do, go cuss his dad out run into his room and blockade the door, then apply pressure to the lip, like with a towel or something for an hour or so, then call the po-pos, because that is child abuse, if a parent strikes a child and draws blood, its illegal, hope his dad gets arrested :D

Apply pressure to the lip. Lips are very vascular so a large amount of blood loss is not uncommon. Once the bleeding is controlled, apply ice to reduce swelling..
