A plastic bag (like a wastepaper basket bag) placed over your hand and taped well at the wrist is your best option. Keep your arm bent at the elbow while showering to further prevent water from entering the covered area. After showering cleanse the left hand carefully with a washcloth. People deal with this obstacle every day successfully and you can as well :-)) The hand will heal and those stitches will he history in no time!

The usual thing is a plastic bag over the hand in question, perhaps attached to your wrist with a pair of tights or some similar object.

Cling wrap and tape. Multiple layers of cling wrap, as much tape as it takes. I'd advise medical tape or duct tape for their slightly more waterproof qualities. Tegaderm is also awesome.

Nightly Shadow

Easy - place a plastic bag over the hand and secure with a rubber band.
